Not every journal is available electronically in the databases. Current Issues of print journals are kept behind the Circulation Desk. Back Issues are kept in the Bound Periodicals section, which is on the second floor of the Birnbaum and Mortola Libraries. Print journals may not be checked out, but you can read and/or photocopy from them in the library. Additionally, if you are on the NYC campus and want an article from a bound volume at PLV (or vice versa), you can request to have a copy made and emailed to you as a PDF. After locating the item record in the catalog, click Request

When prompted, log in with your portal username and password. Next, fill in the Article Author, Article Title, and Date/Volume/Issue & Page of Article fields for the article. Lastly, in the special instructions field, mention that you would like the article to be emailed to you, and leave an email address.
