If many days or even weeks have passed and your interlibrary loan requests have not been processed (their status may say "awaiting copyright clearance" or "awaiting request processing"), it is most likely because when your ILLiad account was created the required Delivery Location field was left blank. This field must be filled in for requests to be processed by the Interlibrary Loan Department. To rectify this, log into your ILLiad account and click "Change User Information" under Tools. Then choose either New York or Pleasantvillle as your Delivery Location and click Submit Information.
